Obtaining E-gold with different methods

Overall, there are many methods of obtaining e-gold, yet it requires much research to go in depth. Countless hours I spent going through google, searching through countless pages and exchangers, here to bring you this report.

Bank Wire - this is the most commonly used and accepted form of payment. You send information for money to be directly transferred, and is almost immediately received. Although this is the most popular way, bank wire is not accessible to every person. Bank wiring also taxes a huge charge, usually by the exchanger, of a $25 charge.

Paypal - how many people have tried to directly exchange paypal to e-gold? It seems impossible. Technically, changing Paypal to E-gold on an official exchanger is illegal. Paypal does not in any way support any other types of online currencies, and thus, it is illegal. However, sometimes, there are e-gold bids on ebay, whichi you can bid on with paypal, but keep it mind, paypal to e-gold ratio is steep, usually leading up to between 1:1.5 and 1:2. The best way to exchange Paypal to E-gold, is to find a person to trade with on a forum. Talkgold.com, and goldage.net are just two of the many popular forums where you can start.

AlertPay - accepts bank transfer, directly related to E-gold, possibly the best exchanger. Since most people have a checking account, you can easily transfer the money from your bank into AlertPay. AlertPay has an extra function however: to withdraw your money with E-gold. There is a fee of 3.5%, but compared to spending endless however to find a credible exchanger of any other type, is nothing. AlertPay is the best. It also accepts a certified check or money order, for those who don't have a checking account.

Credit Card - nearly impossible to do. All the ones that accept credit cards, are almost always scams, period. The only exception is Goldex.net. However, being the only legit and credible credit card acceptor, it requires that you charge $250+ for the first time, and 100+ any other time. It asks you for personal information such as billing information, id, that you will have to send, in order to be credited.

Western Union - so far, I am not so sure of Western Union. Currently, I am doing more research into this, but Western Unioin may have a break-through for credit-card users. Usually, when you think of Western Union, you think of one of the over the counter bank transfers. However, I have recently discovered WesternUnion.com, which you can pay BY credit card, and send payments online.

As a general rule, when using an exchanger, ALWAYS make sure they have contact information! Also, see if you can find credible exchangers on talkgold and goldage.net forums, as they will help you with actual results.
